“How do I see a stride? 👀”

is the question that many riders ask me.  But what they usually mean is “How do I make sure I won’t end up falling off?”

The simple answer unfortunately, is that you can’t.

Even docile horses can be unpredictable. Minimise chances of falling by riding with proper engine and balance.

The bigger the fence, the more potential issues.

I learnt this the hard way with my epic fall at Badminton in 1986!

It was one of those most unusual moments that my poor horse made an error - he decided to take off a full stride early. But horses makes very few mistakes.

Most falls happen because riders think their job is to jump the fence rather than preparing the horse. As a rider, your mission is to ensure the horse sees the fence in time and approaches balanced with the right energy so he can get you both over safely.

That’s exactly what I’ll help you achieve in this incredible new challenge – preparing your horse correctly so he can confidently tackle each fence.

And this is exactly what I will teach you to do in this incredible new challenge.

But what about the “not-so-fun” times when you fall off?

When you miss your stride at that tricky combination, and part ways with your horse, bruising more than just your ego?

How do you find the confidence to climb back on the (not so proverbial) horse, and have another go?

Even simple cross country courses can make us nervous wrecks, which is dangerous. But it doesn’t have to be that way. What if you could learn how top riders tackle huge fences and in a few weeks begin building the skills and confidence to ride bigger tracks yourself?

That’s exactly what I’ll teach in this new 28-day challenge – how to develop the abilities of top riders so you can confidently navigate bigger cross country courses.

Let’s talk about the money

💵💵💵

What kind of crazy person offers a cash incentive to become a better rider?

Lucinda Green, that’s who!

Because let’s face it; horses are expensive.  (Slap a picture of a horse on it and you can literally charge double.)  As a professional equestrian of more than 50 years, I know how crippling the horse bills can be.  So I decided to do something completely unorthodox, and offer big cash prizes for those who are willing to show up and do the work.

Here’s how the “I never thought someone would pay me to ride my horse” cash competition works:

1. Take a video of you riding a horse over a simple, small fence*
(On your horse, or a borrowed one)

2. Follow the training plan and complete the weekly exercises.

3. After 28 days, record another video riding the same fence, on the same horse.

4. Our panel of world-renowned equestrians will judge the biggest transformation.

5. Send us your Paypal details so we can send you the cash.

*Specific details of what we want to see in the video are sent after purchase.

Show us your most impressive transformation and you could win:

1st Prize

$5000

2nd Prize - $2500 | 3rd Prize - $1250
4th Prize - $500 | 5th Prize - $250
6th - 10th - $100 each

Remember, this is not a popularity contest.
Meet our panel of esteemed equestrian judges

Diana Burgess

Ex International 4* Rider and Coach. Diana worked for Bruce Davidson and then Lucinda Green for many years. Diana has ridden and coached using Lucinda’s principles for the last 25 years.

"Oh goodness me Lucinda, you have no eye for a stride!"

Confession time.

Confession time.  I wasn’t always a World Champion and these were not the words I wanted to hear from my first and longterm coach, Pat Burgess.  But I really had no natural “eye” for a stride, and its a blessing that I didn’t.

Had I been born with an inbuilt strideometer, I would never have had to work as hard as I did to develop the necessary skills to enable me to amass some amazing rewards in my career, among which pinnacles were:

1 x World Champion

2 x European Champions • 1 x World team gold medal

3 x European team gold medals • 1 x Olympic silver team medal

6 x Badminton • 2 x Burghley

Why was my “in-ability” to see a stride actually a benefit?

Because when you learn through trial and error, and slap a great big dollop of experience on top, something magical happens. You can develop a system that is effective and reproducible

Don’t take my word for it

Here’s what my past students have to say:

testimonial 1
“Lucinda has transformed the way I ride down to a fence, and my horse is so much more relaxed. I don’t even think about strides”
Lola Dare
BE100
testimonial-2
“I was quite surprised when I came back to riding and eventing after a 20 year break. I was not confident about the XC and very worried about “missing” when coming down to a “run and jump” fence. All of that concern was taken away when Lucinda explained I only had to worry about 3 things and it was the horse's job to jump the jump.”
Rachael Faulkner
Former Olympic 3 Day Event Rider

Okay you’ve convinced me.

But I have a question:

A: Yes, myself and my team really answer your questions on the Private Facebook Group every single day. Every single member is important to me and if you’re struggling, I want to help you succeed. So if you’re interested in getting personal advice straight from Lucinda Green, now is the time to get onboard.

A: This is an online learning program but it does require you to have access to a horse to enter the challenge.  You can absolutely borrow a horse if you’re not lucky enough to own one.  All we ask is that you use the same horse in both the before and after videos.

A: Absolutely not!  It doesn’t matter if you’re an Olympic equestrian or completely new in the saddle. I have taught riders from the highest professional ranks right down to complete beginners.  And one thing I’m known for is my ability to distil information in a way that everyone can understand and apply.

A: Absolutely yes. This challenge is for anyone who rides down to a fence whether it is a SJ or a XC jump.

A: Again, the answer is no!  You don’t even need a sand arena.  As long as you have an area to ride and jump, you can apply what I’m teaching here.

A: As soon as you purchase you’ll be sent the PDF training and in invite to the Private Facebook Group.  The training videos are in the PDF.  To watch them simply click on the name of the video, and it will open in your device.  Once you receive the PDF, simply save it to your computer or handheld device and it’s yours forever.  (But don’t worry, if you lose it my team will send you another).

A: Indeed! Any applicable sales tax is added in the shopping cart. That’s it. There are no other charges. No recurring dues. Any other products or special deals you ever see from me now or in the future are optional.
